Hand Gesture Control

Control things with your hand in front of a webcam. This is a browser version of the Python project. It uses the same MediaPipe hand model and the same gesture rules. Webpages can't move your real mouse or change your system volume, so here the cursor and the volume live inside this page. Video is processed on your device and never uploaded.

Camera

Allow camera access when your browser asks. The hand model (~8 MB) downloads once.

  • Move: raise your index finger and keep the middle finger down. Keep your hand inside the blue frame.
  • Click: lower your index finger and raise your middle finger.
